When something is trending a lot of people are looking for content regarding that trend and are willing to look at less popular channels if they make theme relevant titles, content, and thumbnails. It also exposes your content to new audiences that might be interested in the content you’re producing.
How do you attach a trend to a video? For example, there was a video uploaded on youtube called “How I shower living in a van” by Jenelle Eliana. This video blew up and a lot of other YouTubers noticed that so with the help of trend-attaching the capitalized of the hype surrounding the video.

Keep in my in mind if you want to do this that probably hundreds of people are contacting them for similar things so you’re going to have to stand out. Make it a win-win situation. Provide them with value and give them an offer they can’t refuse.
Use these methods and even if you don’t rank on Google yet you can get a lot of people to your website. I’ve met bloggers that literally bring in thousands of people monthly by using these methods.
